The Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District is one of the most conservative areas in all of California. According to most recent voter registration reports, 48.2 percent of the 32,306 registered voters are Republican while just 26.1 percent are Democrats.
Yet, there is only one Republican on the YCJUSD.
Our effort to ban illegal aliens from attending public schools suffered a setback after the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters, a Democrat operative, ruled that we cannot move forward with our initiative.
The American Children First Initiative was filed on April 3.
Not only would it prohibit illegal aliens from attending public schools in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District, it would require illegal alien parents to pay a non-resident tuition to enroll their American citizen children.Continue reading
Well, we have some disappointing but expected news to report. A teacher in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District who supports our initiative sent me a press release from Superintendent Cali Banks. It was apparently issued on behalf of the governing board members reaffirming their support for educating illegal aliens. Clearly they oppose our American Children First Initiative.

Below you will find our first press release announcing the first project of American Children First. We do not believe the American taxpayer is obligated to pay for the education of illegal aliens, especially at the expense of our own children's education.
If you believe that illegal aliens should be barred from attending public schools so that we can put the needs and education of our American children first, please forward this post to your friends and family. Please share it on Facebook and please contact your local school board members and tell them that you want them to ban illegals from their schools, too.
Here is the proof of filing with the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters and receipt of payment.
