A Day Without Immigrants: How the Left Co-Opts Language and Generalizes to Advance Their Agenda
One of the most powerful things nationalists can do to combat the marauding horde of leftists seeking to promulgate anarchy and destruction of our nation-state is to beat back against the co-option of our English language to make it mean whatever they want it to mean to suit their agenda.
By now, the rest of the country is figuring out what California immigration hardliners have known for more than a decade -- that the left is comprised of whiny little children who throw irrational temper tantrums whenever they don't get their way. They are incapable of rational thought.
One fundamental aspect of their long-term incrementalism approach to activism is redefining words to fit their agenda. We see this all the time and people need to wake up to how it works.
Take the recent "Day Without Immigrants" strike that landed with a thud in this country. You know, the action that was in response to President Trump's so-called "Muslim ban."
Do you think they would ever call for a national day without illegal aliens? Of course not.
Nothing that President Trump proposed is even remotely anti-immigrant. The only people impacted by Trump's recent actions are illegal aliens and people wanting to visit this country from select nations in the Middle East that President Barack Obama identified as high risk.
What the left does is try to blur the issues and meanings of words to make their agenda more palatable to the general public.
President Trump did not ban Muslims from entering the United States nor did he ban immigrants from entering this country. So, why are they having a "a day without immigrants?"
Because calling for a day without radical Islamic terrorists and illegal aliens just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Take the classic refrain of "we are a nation of immigrants" and the idiotic notion that just because we have done something in the past means that we should continue doing it in the present and future. The same leftists who hate the United States and mock nationalists and patriots for their ardent love of country are just as likely to ridicule and bash this country for its ugly history of slavery. Should we have allowed slavery to continue into perpetuity as well? Of course not.
Doing something just because we have always done it that way may work in the government sector, but it isn't a good way to run a nation.
No, we are not a nation of immigrants -- if your definition of immigrant is comprised of refugees, radical Islamic terrorists, and others who want to sponge off the American taxpayer.
We are a nation that is more generous and compassionate than any other nation in this history of human civilization that has welcomed more people seeking a better life than any other. But, we didn't coddle them, enable them to avoid assimilation by bending over backward to accommodate their language or customs, and we sure as hell did not give free government handouts to them and their children.
They came here and they were expected to learn the language, assimilate, adopt our values and customs, and contribute to making this country a better place for the next generation of Americans.
Today, we take in people who do not want to become Americans -- but want to benefit by being in America. To them I say, get the fuck out!
The left attempts to guilt, manipulate and persuade the opposition with language. They are incredibly proficient at it.
My favorite is when they claim illegal aliens pay taxes. Huh? Are you kidding me.
My kid pays taxes each time he buys something with his allowance. Big effing deal.
What really happens and what the left fails to say is that illegal aliens commit identity fraud in order to actually pay these taxes and the reason they do that is because they actually can walk away with more money in income tax refunds by filing returns claiming earn income tax credits and the like for their real or fake children.
The leftists and their biased enablers in the "free press" constantly refer to anti-illegal immigration activists as being anti-immigrant. When I was leading Save Our State, article after article would label my group as being anti-immigrant and the same goes for a myriad of groups and activists across the nation.
But, let's make one thing clear.
Even organizations that want to place a moratorium on illegal immigration are not by definition anti-immigrant though they very well might.
If a person refuses to plant roses in their garden does that make them anti-roses? It could. But, it could also mean that they simply prefer other options more or maybe they don't like the upkeep. Hell, maybe they had roses and "deported" all them from their garden because of the recent arrival of grand children and didn't want them running into or falling into the thorns.
Then you have the "no human is illegal" nonsense and demands that the media refer to illegal aliens as undocumented immigrants.
Nationalists such as myself are called racists, bigots, xenophobes and Islamophobes. Why?
Because we believe in America exceptionalism and this crazy idea that if you are going to flee your third world shit-hole to come to our country then maybe, just maybe, you should focus your energy on becoming more like an American and less time trying to get America to look and feel like the place you were so desperate to flee from.
I know. How controversial!
