#FakeNews LA Times Reporter Calls Kate Steinle’s Illegal Alien Killer an “Immigrant”
A Los Angeles Times reporter has once again been caught peddling fake news after a San Francisco jury acquitted an illegal alien of murdering an American by the name Kate Steinle.
The 32 year-old was shot and killed while walking along Pier 14 with her father by the five-time deported Jose Inez Garcia Zarate in July 2015. Zarate was on probation at the time of the shooting and had a record consisting of at least seven felony convictions, including possession of heroin and manufacturing of narcotics. The police department secured a taped confession from Zarate.
Following the announcement of the stunning verdict, which has shocked the country and angered immigration hardliners, Los Angeles Times reporter Hailey Branson-Potts sent out a tweet referring to the killer as an “immigrant.”
When it comes to illegal immigration reporting, mainstream media outlets refuse to use the phrase “illegal aliens” in their articles, opting for the politically correct but still inaccurate “undocumented immigrants.” Additionally, reporters regularly smear activists and opponents of illegal immigration by labeling them as being “anti-immigrant” because they are fake news.
Immigrant is a term expressly reserved for those individuals who legally enter our country with the intention of living her permanently. It is impossible for an illegal alien to be an immigrant by definition because they are unable to live here permanently.
Arthur Schaper, a Southern California immigration hardliner activist with LA County for Trump blasted Branson-Potts for exhibiting bias.
“She writes bleeding heart articles highlighting the plight of illegal aliens, but routinely ignores the pain and suffering of Americans impacted by open borders and unchecked illegal immigration,” Schaper said. “It is offensive to me that a reporter would call an illegal alien an immigrant. It is journalistic malpractice.”
Ironically, Branson-Potts sent out a tweet prior to this controversial one where she linked to a story about how Wal-Mart had pulled a t-shirt that hinted at hanging reporters from its stores. The shirt featured the statement: “Rope. Tree. Journalist. Some Assembly Required.”

Is it any wonder why there is so much disdain and contempt for mainstream media these days? In between constantly spreading fake news, leftist propaganda, and sexually assaulting each other, they literally bastardize the meanings of words to suit their political agenda.
Earlier today the federal government announced that a warrant for the arrest of Zarate had been issued.
According to Fox News, ICE Deputy Director Tom Homan said, “San Francisco's policy of refusing to honor ICE detainers is a blatant threat to public safety and undermines the rule of law. This tragedy could have been prevented if San Francisco had turned the alien over to ICE, as we requested, instead of releasing him back onto the streets."
