The American Children First Initiative
AKA - Plyler v Doe Must Go
If we are going to put "America First" then we must put American children first. And that means we need to stop sacrificing the quality of our children's education by spending billions educating illegal aliens.
The founder of American Children First filed the "American Children First Initiative" with the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters on April 3, 2017. The initiative would bar illegal aliens from attending public schools in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District (YCJUSD) and also require illegal alien parents of American citizens to pay a "non-resident" tuition to enroll their children in our schools.

Plyler v Doe: What is it?
Plyler v Doe is one of the worst decisions in the history of the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court ruled in Plyler v Doe (1982) that illegal aliens should be allowed to attend our public schools and that American taxpayers must sacrifice the quality of education their children receive because it was their responsibility to educate anyone who came here illegally.
"Revisions to education laws in Texas in 1975 withheld state funds for educating children who had not been legally admitted to the United States and authorized local school districts to deny enrollment to such students. A 5-to-4 majority of the Supreme Court found that this policy was in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment, as unauthorized immigrant children are people "in any ordinary sense of the term," and therefore had protection from discrimination unless a substantial state interest could be shown to justify it."

Goals of the Initiative
The ultimate goal of the American Children First Initiative is to directly or indirectly provide the catalyst for overturning Plyler v Doe be it through the courts or an act of Congress.
1. Qualify and pass the initiative
2. Serve as a model for copycat efforts across the country
3. Place pressure on President Donald Trump to honor is promise on rescinding DACA.
4. Find a member of Congress to re-introduce the 1996 Elton Gallegly Amendment
Additionally, we would like to use the attention surrounding this effort to mobilize American nationalists to take back the power in their local school districts and exert more influence in local elections and influencing local governing board decisions that go beyond immigration issues.
