SHOCK! Moderate Assemblywoman “Likes” Blistering Anti-Chad Mayes Facebook Post

This week when the California Republican Party announced that American nationalist rock star Steve Bannon had been selected to speak at the upcoming convention, the increasingly marginalized and impotent Assemblyman Chad Mayes criticized the move.

The "Never Trumper" who cheated on his wife, broke up two families, voted for the largest gas tax increase in American history and was subsequently forced to resign from leadership after an unprecedented grassroots campaign wanted to lecture the CRP and his fellow Republicans on tone-deafness.

Yes. That happened.

For those of you who may not know, Assemblyman Chad Mayes is the former leader of the California Assembly Republican Caucus. American Children First exposed his affair with Kristin Olsen, the now former Vice-Chairwoman of the California Republican Party. After we exposed the affair and waged a six week long Holy War against Mayes, they both were ousted/forced to resign from their leadership positions.

Mayes is like the horror movie villain. He just doesn’t know when he is dead and keeps popping his head back up in a desperate attempt to regain relevancy.

It is rare in California politics to see a Republican state legislator publicly criticize a fellow Republican. Aside from those increasingly rare “bomb throwers” usually occupying the far-right, these folks are fairly congenial towards each other. Any differences between individuals is usually kept in house and discussed behind closed doors.

Thus, I was honestly and sincerely shocked when I came across a blistering anti-Chad Mayes post (see image below) in a Facebook group and noticed that one of his fellow colleagues liked it. The post was authored by conservative activist Aaron Park and published in the California Impact Republicans group. And I am not talking about Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez, the fiery conservative who sought to unseat Mayes and seize the leadership position in what was ultimately a failed bid over the summer.

Shockingly, it was Catharine Baker – someone who I had understood to be a Mayes ally.

Assemblywoman Catharine Baker distances herself from RINO Assemblyman Chad Mayes?

To be honest, I am not 100 percent sure what to make of it. Maybe it was an accidental “like” button tap. But, if she really meant it it can only signal that Mayes star has crashed to the Earth and that he and his failed philosophy is being culled from the RINO herd.

Make no mistake. This was not an innocuous post where a like could have meant any number of things. Aaron Park referred to the disgraced Mayes as "antifa-Chad."

OUCH!

Mayes’ intransigence, stubborn arrogance, and inability to admit when he is wrong is driving a deeper wedge between the party base. American Children First started a petition to demand that Mayes re-register as a Democrat and join previous sellout Nathan Fletcher.

They deserve each other.

We will reach out to Assemblywoman Catharine Baker to see if we can get a comment.
