Somebody Has a Case of the Mondays: Steinorth Luncheon Cancelled; Biography Pulled from Amazon
Looks like somebody has a really bad case of the Mondays.
And by somebody, I mean Assemblyman Marc Steinorth.
First, American Children First discovered that Steinorth had paid some authors to churn out a self-promotional "biography" to give him some good press. It was listed on Amazon with a publish date of October 14, 2017.
We tried to help Marc out with some earned media by letting people know that it was available for purchase.
Within hours -- it was taken down. Poof! Gone. Vanished. No more.
Then we published a post where we disclosed that his estrange wife, Maria Steinorth, named the name of his chief of staff in court documents. She says she believes that her husband is having an affair with Heather Rouhana.
Now, we have received word that the luncheon put together by the Redlands Republican Women's Club featuring Steinorth as a guest speaker has been cancelled, or at the very least he is no longer speaking (see image at end of blog post).
At this time, and we are seeking clarification, we cannot say whether or not the club pulled the invitation or if Steinorth cancelled on his own.
Assemblyman Marc Steinorth betrayed the people of California when he violated his promise and voted for the "cap and trade" bill that will raise the price of gas by 71 cents per gallon. Votes have consequences and we intend to make him pay.
Grab some popcorn and follow along with us over at "The Marc Steinorth Files." I guarantee you are going to enjoy the happy ending.
There was some social media criticism directed at the club by those angry Republican activists who felt that inviting Steinorth to speak was not a very good idea with very bad optics. During the last three weeks, American Children First has been working to expose the betrayals of the state legislator.
We have reported on 9-1-1 calls, allegations of an affair with his chief of staff, reports that he sought medical treatment for suicidal thoughts and depression, allegations that he physically dragged his wife across a drive way, and bullied his wife into taking back her maiden name.
Social media criticism suggested it was improper for the club to invite him to speak over these issues on top of recent votes for the "cap and trade" bill which enacted the largest gas tax increase in American history.
