VIDEO: Three Dozen Cops Called on Activists who Crash Office of Republican Who Voted for 71 Cent Gas Tax
What happens when a handful of angry Republican activists confront California Republican Assemblyman Marc Steinorth (Rancho Cucamonga) about his vote to raise gas taxes by 71 cents a gallon?
His office, led by Chief of Staff Heather Rouhana, responds by summoning three dozen California Highway Patrol officers and San Bernardino County Sheriff deputies to the scene as if it was a live-shooter or terrorist event. Oh yeah...and don't forget the helicopter.
It was absolutely insane.
On Thursday, July 27, American Children First organized a protest of the fundraiser luncheon being held by Assemblyman Chad Mayes. He also voted for the gas tax increase and his event was only a couple of miles away.
So, we publicly announced the Mayes' fundraiser protest and planned to crash Steinorth's office once we were done.
Here is some video of our visit to Steinorth's office where we confronted his staff about his support for the cap and trade gas tax. The day before, we also discovered a Steinorth campaign ad where he attacked his Democrat opponent Abigail Medina for supporting cap and trade.
After we exposed the hypocritical ad, Steinorth had the video deleted from his YouTube account.
Here is the short video from our office visit.
Here is the link to the longer video that has our full encounter inside Steinorth's office with his staff.
