VIDEO: Patriots Sing Pledge of Allegiance after Dem Congresswoman Refuses to do so at Town Hall Meeting
A coalition of Southern California patriots who support President Trump and are opposed to illegal immigration taught a lesson in patriotism to liberal Democrat Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán who represents the City of Carson.
She refused to start the townhall meeting with a reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance.
However, the patriots in attendance would not allow that to stand showing the elected official that the people of this great nation are the boss. Led by Raul Rodriguez Jr. of We the People Rising, the coalition took control of the meeting and said the pledge anyway forcing the elected official and her supporters to stand and recognize the flag.
The meeting quickly devolved from there when the freshman member of Congress opened her remarks by slamming President Trump.
Patriots shouted her down and demanded that she show respect for the Commander-in-Chief.
The forum grew raucous as patriots have taken proactively more assertive stances at townhall forums following the disruptive practices utilized by the left earlier in the year. As a result, Ms. Barragan's staff tried to do damage control by moving the meeting to a new location on the school campus.
Her staff then has Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies block the entrance into the room whereby only non-Trump supporters were allowed entry. Fortunately, Joseph Turner of American Children First was able to quickly reach the room before the blockade.
Once inside Turner opened one of the alternative exit side doors so that Arthur Schaper could gain entry. Patriots then shouted down the meeting and banged on the doors preventing the townhall from continuing.
Congresswoman Barragan ultimately had to cancel the meeting much to her dismay and irritation. This was the second town hall forum shut down this week by the same coalition of activists. Earlier this week they shut down Congressman Lou Correa's forum designed to teach illegal aliens how to evade arrest and deportation.
And in late May, the sanctuary city of Cudahy abruptly ended its meeting in large part due to the presence of this coalition of anti-illegal immigration activists.
Tensions flared and dozens of police officers were called when a fight broke out after a masked Antifa member punched a Trump supporter.
